I really am quite simple when it comes to pleasing me.
It's true! I really don't need much to make me happy...
Despite what some may think.
That smirk comes from the fact that we went model home, "I said shopping" and he said "looking" this past weekend.
I learned we have different preferences in our ideal house...By preferences I mead budget...We have different budgets...
I fell in love with this kitchen, and told the hubs that I needed one just like it!
Hubs fell in love with...well, the chair, because that's all we could probably afford..
(Baby Boo was having a blast, if you didn't notice.)
I guess I don't need that big expensive house just yet...
Truth is I'm too busy auditioning Baby Boo for the next season of Toddlers & Tiaras...
I kid on that one...Hubby won't let me.
Where was I at? Simple pleasures?...that's right....
Let's talk about packages.
I LOVE packages! Especially when I receive extra special things in the mail, like the Nunaturals Stevia products!
I have heard so much about this natural sweetener Stevia plant from so many bloggers, and have always wanted to try it out, so I was fortunate to have Ron, from NuNaturals ask me if I would like to learn about as well as sample some of their products.
Of coarse I was beyond thrilled...
I got WAY more than I expected.
Yes, that's a cocoa bean extract...I've already used half the bottle.. :-)
I even received a dictionary worth of recipes, including some from my favorite bloggers! :)
So of coarse, the first thing I wanted to do was make something!
I had some really ripe bananas that needed to be used, so I debated between bread, cake, bars..etc..
But I decided it was best to try cookies! :-)
Simple Pleasures folks..
Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Banana Chunk Cookie Bites
2 ripe bananas
1 C. oats
3/4 C. whole wheat pastry flour
2 TB. vanilla
1 tsp. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 TB. chopped dark chocolate chips
2 TB. canola oil
1/4 C. Stevia Baking Blend
Optional: 4 TB. chopped Blueberries, 2-4 TB. chopped walnuts.
Mix all ingredients together until combined and wet. Using a small cookie cutter, scoop out batter and place on prepared cookie sheet. Press down for more flat cookies, or leave as is for little cookie ball bites.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 14-18 minutes, depending on your cookie texture preference.
Amazing. I cannot wait to try out their other products!
Some people may not think chocolate pairs well with blueberries...ummmm...
Oh, and if your worried about your picky kiddos or even pickier husbands finding out that there is no sugar in these cookies...
"Oh, so the minute I take pictures of cookies you guys are ALL over them, but if I'm photographing a bowl of chili you guys NO where to be found!"
That's ok..I'm willing to share.
Just as long as you buy me that nice big kitchen, hubs...
And Baby Boo...
Your perfect just the way you are. :-)
** A special thanks to Ron for giving me the opportunity to sample the NuNaturals Stevia products. This post is based off all of my own personal opinions. I was not paid to write about this product.
