Do Over + Weekly Menu and Workout Schedule

Ok my friends! I've been planning this post FOR A LONG TIME.

But I have been procrastinating because of FEAR. It's so scary to put yourself out there, expose your faults, share your passions, and express your feelings. But I've had this little voice in my head that has told me not to be afraid, and that's why this post exist today.

I've explained a lot in this crazy video that follows, but here is a quick summary. I have not been the best healthy living/lifestyle gal for a while... I just haven't. I think when we experience hard times/good times, we grow and we learn from these experiences. Having babies, going through personal struggles, being a mama, and everything in between hasn't always been easy, but I have loved every.single.part. My life, my kids, and my husband are my greatest blessings. But a long the way, especially having 3 kids under 5, I have had to do some 're-learning' so to speak. Figuring out how to live healthy when things are different or challenging.

So watch the video to get more of the details! I feel so happy to share this with you, and I hope this brings us closer and lets you know that we all struggle, and we all aren't perfect! And we can come back!

So, what do you think!

Do over
Do over

In order to be held accountable, and to show you what I'll be doing to get back on track, I've decided that on Monday's I'll include my weekly workout schedule and our family's weekly dinner plan. Planning is key, and when it's all written out for you, I know it can be a lot easier to succeed. It may not be a perfect workout week, or the best menu, but it's the reality of what I'm doing. I'm not going to sugar coat it and tell you I'm doing 1 thing, when I'm really not. :) Not cool guys. Not cool.

So let's do this together!

Trash TV Workout Series: Booty

There are numerous moments during the day where it hits me... "When is the last time I sat down?? "

IMG_5257

Despite always being on my feet cleaning, picking up, moving, cuddling, tickling, chasing, etc., I know how easy it is to let 'mom time' get pushed to the side. Even trying to squeeze in a workout video is tough, when one is clinging to your leg, and the other just had a bathroom accident on the floor...It's freakin' nuts! In a good way :).

I've talked a lot about my unhealthy addiction to trash TV, and how I hate admitting I know way too much about every single Real Housewife, but I just.can't.look.away. I know I'm not alone in this, don't lie!! We all know there are a handful of you out there who couldn't be more excited that Juan Pablo is the next Bachelor and we just can't wait to make matching Team Juan Pablo shirts...Am I right??

So whether you are watching Trash TV or playing toys on the floor with your kids, why not squeeze in a little extra workout?! Nothing too crazy, but just enough to get those muscles toned, along with kickin' a few extra calories to the curb!

Today's first Trash TV is all about BOOTIES! (Unless you are Boo. Then it's all about Boobies...)

(Side note: Filming this took months of convincing myself, but I finally gave in! It's not perfect, and the lighting is horrible, but you can still get a great little workout in!)

And in honor of today's FIRST workout video, I have a fabulous giveaway for all of my lovely readers!

Sometime back, Eleven by Venus Williams sent me some fun workout gear! (The shirt I'm wearing in the video is one of them, similar to this one HERE.) I knew I had to share something with you guys for being so amazing, so I'll be giving away a pair of these light blue workout leggings!

Be Consistent & A 100 Workout Challenge!

Before we begin this weeks #BeConsistent talk and challenges, be sure to check out what Be Consistent is all about! Check out the first post!

Then check out last weeks post about my favorite online fitness resources!

We are finally getting settled into our new home, and I'm beginning to feel a little less crazy because things are settling down! Like many of you around the world, there are definitely some weather challenges which keep up hiding in doors! (Under the blankets, snuggled with your babies, watching trash TV. You know...the Usual.) Or, your house could be battling the plague, therefore you husband and kiddos are quarantined to their rooms. Either way, I'm sure a lot of us may be dealing with some type of cabin fever and if you don't have a full blown gym in your house and you are sick workout videos well then...what to do?

A long with the theme of Being Consistent, these little challenges are some of my favorite workouts! If your gone all day and don't have time to fit in a full workout but are in desperate need of one, this 100 challenge can do the trick!

You don't have to repeat it 3x, one after the other. If your short on time or a beginner, only do it once or split it so you do it 3 times that day! What ever you do, remember it's all about doing the best you can do at least do something each day to Be Consistent with living a healthy lifestyle!

And if motivation is a problem, try enticing yourself with a little sweet treat after your sweat sesh packed with nutrients and protein!
